CORPORATE HISTORY
Canpac was formed in 1986 to manufacture stainless steel and ductile iron parts for the waterworks market in British Columbia. Bruce McPhee, who started out in the industry at the distribution level as a sales representative, formed Canpac with the philosophy of customer service in mind.
Early on, a strong foundation was forged with this philosophy of building relationships with clients by helping them with their most difficult challenges. This compelled Canpac to focus within one of its strongest attributes, their knowledge of the industry.
As the business started to expand across Canada, Bruce added Larry Bollinger as General Manager, Bob Comfort as BC Sales Manager, and Eric Purdy as Prairies Sales Manager to the Canpac team. Combined, they offer over 100 years of experience in the waterworks industry.
Fueling this growth was the addition of multiple products lines. From Cambridge Brass to Smith-Blair, being both a manufacturer and a supplier, Canpac offers its clients a one stop shop for their waterworks needs.
Today, clients in the marketplace are aware that they can count on Bruce, Larry, Bob, Eric and the rest of the Canpac team.
“At CanPac, our people have to have the attitude that we are all in this together. We work as a team to get the job done right the first time and every time”.
